The SCORE Association provides personalized, confidential counseling to help people start and operate a successful small business. SCORE counselors offer advice based on their years of business experience as executives or small business owners. These counselors are also members of your community and are familiar with local resources, business climate and demographics. Counseling topics are based on the needs of your business. All businesses must understand the 3 “M”s; Marketing (a business without customers is not a business), Management (the reason most businesses fail) and Money (the reason a business exists). Counseling may include, but is not limited to, writing or reviewing the business plan, developing marketing strategies, securing financing, or managing business growth.

Whether you are thinking about starting a business or have been in business for a while, SCORE is available to you as a sounding board for an idea, as business advisors, for brainstorming, or just solid business advice. Besides, many of our counselors have industry specific experience that can be tapped if needed. Low-cost Seminars & Workshops...

SCORE volunteers also coordinate low-cost seminars and workshops to provide entrepreneurs training on specific topics. Seminars include topics on financing your business, writing a business plan, legal and record keeping requirements, and marketing your product or services.
